Scandinavian Almond Cake Pan Qty.
Scandinavian Almond Cake Recipe Spray pan with Pam or cooking spray. Beat well: 1-1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1-1/2 teaspoons pure almond extract, 2/3 cup milk Add: 1-1/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder Add: 1 stick melted margarine or butter Mix well. Bake at 350° for 40-50 minutes. Edges must be golden brown. Cool in pan before removing. Cake will break if removed too soon. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Variation: Before pouring batter into pan, sprinkle sliced almonds on the bottom.

ALMOND TARTLETS - Swedish Recipe

1 cup sweet butter
3/5 cup sugar
1 cup sweet almonds
2-1/3 cups wheat flour
4 bitter almonds
1 egg

Scald the almonds, peel and grind them. Mix all ingredients together and cover the inside of the buttered tartlet tins with the dough. Bake in middle-hot oven.

SAND BAKKELS - Norwegian Recipe

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2-1/4 cups flour

Cream butter and shortening with sugar, add egg and flavorings and beat well. Sift flour and gradually add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Turn dough onto waxed paper and wrap. Chill 45 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°. Cut thin slices of dough and press into tartlet tins, starting at the bottom and working up. Bake on cookie sheet 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in tins, then turn out (may also roll out dough and bake on regular cookie tins).
